Workshops:

1) Self-Hypnosis and Integrated Mental Training for Sport and Performing Arts

After many years of helping professional sportsmen of all disciplines, Louis was invited to work as mental coach for a professional soccer team. Louis worked one full season with the technical and medical staff, the management and with the football players, both individually and in team.
This workshop will tell you the story of what really happens behind the curtains of a professional football team. Based on the latest developments in the neurosciences, this workshop offers tools that you can use in your own practice. Most of these tools come from hypnosis but you will learn NEVER to use the H-word in front of soccer players!

2) Systematic LifeSkillsTraining (LST) in the Schoolsystem

The main purpose of Schools are to prepare the students for a good Life. However, traditional education has not been able to show any positive relations between Success in School and Success in Life. The main reason for that seem to be the different demands, where school requires knowledge and Life competence (how we handle various Life situations) IMT (Integrated Mental Training) has been used in Swedish schools since the seventees with very good and interesting results.

Vortrag:

1) The effects of long-term self-hypnotic training

I. INTRODUCTION
IMT, a systematic Self-Hypnotic training, has during 35 years been used by more than 3 million Swedish people. Starting with the National and Olympic Teams and the Swedish School System in the seventies, IMT has then been applied to most areas of the Swedish Society.

II. BACKGROUND
Integrated Mental Training was created 1970 based on a number of studies in the sixtees. These studies focused on three areas:
A. Hypnosis, Self-Hypnosis and other Alternative States of Consciousness (ASC)
B. Mind and Body issues, especially directed to Sport Performances
C. The Criteria of Peak Performances and Wellness

III. RESEARCH
A great number of studies have been made of the principles as well as application varying from Laboratory experiments over to field studies.

IV. MODELS
One model of IMT i called CHANGE, where C stands for Coaching (method of change), H for Hypnosis (state of change), A for Acceptance and Commitment Training (model of change), G for Generative Images and Cognitive Training and E for Emotional Training (Contents of change).

V. APPLICATIONS
IMT was introduced in Sport and Stage Performance during the 70:s, in Health and Education during the 80:s and in Business and Public Administration during the 90:s. Today it is used by more than 1/4 of the Swedish population. The most common applications are Personal Growth, Stressmanagement, Sport, School and Work Performance and various Behavior and Health Problems.
